Swanirbhar Naari Portal Launch by CM Himanta Biswa Sharma
Swanirbhar Naari Portal launched by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma. Under the ‘Swanirbhar Naari’ scheme, the Assam government will procure handloom items directly from the indigenous weavers via a web portal. Chief Minister has tweet on Twitter, “Happy to launch ‘Swanirbhar Naari’ a scheme to empower our indigenous weavers. Govt. will procure handloom items directly from them through an online portal. CM Himanta Biswa Sharma said that this scheme will help preserve the heritage of handlooms and textiles.
“I am sure this scheme will help preserve our heritage of handlooms and textiles by ensuring assured income to our weavers,” Himanta Biswa Sharma said. The Chief Minister further lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s love for Assamese “gamosa”. Sarma urged the Handloom and Textiles department to generate more awareness on gamosa. “PM Narendra Modi’s love for Assamese gamosa has made it known far and wide. Taking advantage of the favourable ecosystem, I urge Handloom and Textile Dept to generate more awareness on gamosa. I also urge all concerned to procure handloom-made gamosa only,” Sarma tweeted.

Know the complete process to make Swanirbhar Naari Portal registration and login through online mode:-
Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website at https://swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in/
Step 2: At homepage, click the “Register” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in/Home/registration
Step 3: Then the page to make Swanirbhar Naari Portal registration 2024 will appear.
Step 4: Enter personal details, address details, yarn passbook details and login details. Then click “Yes” to Do you want to sell your handloom products under “SWANIRBHAR NAARI” scheme and click at “Register” button to complete Swanirbhar Naari Portal registration process.
Step 5: After complete registration of Swanirbhar Naari Scheme, you can login by clicking at the “Login” button or directly clicking at https://swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in/Home/login
Step 6: Then the page to make Swanirbhar Naari Portal Login will appear.
Step 7: Enter username, password, choose role, captcha code and click at “Sign In” button to make Swanirbhar Naari Scheme Login.
